2023 Rural Oklahoma Photo Contest

In celebration of National Rural Health Day on November 16, 2023, the OSU Center for Rural Health is holding a photo contest to showcase the beauty and diversity of rural Oklahoma.

To enter, use the 2023 Rural Oklahoma Photo Contest entry form. Your submissions may be featured on the Center's social media and web platforms. Some may be chosen for future OSU Medicine publications and social media posts. The lucky winner will be announced on November 30, 2023. Please refer to the rules, terms, and conditions provided below. We look forward to seeing the best of rural Oklahoma. Good luck!

2023 Rural Oklahoma Photo Contest Rules, Terms, and Conditions
  • The contest runs from October 20, 2023 to November 16, 2023;
  • Winners will be selected and announced no later than November 30, 2023;
  • You may enter as many times as you would like;
  • All entries must be original work, taken in the state of Oklahoma, and include the location where the photograph was taken;
  • Only digital photographs will be accepted:
  • Digital images (.png, .jpg, .jpeg, or .gif format) must be at least 300 dpi (resolution) and not exceed 10 MB in size;
  • Entries may be submitted through our 2023 Rural Oklahoma Photo Contest Entry Form or email (osururalhealth@okstate.edu);
  • Photographer retains all copyright privileges for submitted photographs. Photographer grants unlimited, nonexclusive use license to the OSU Center for Rural Health. The OSU Center for Rural Health reserves the right to use the photos in printed materials and by electronic means to promote rural Oklahoma and OSU Center for Health Sciences programs. As conditions of this permission, OSU shall credit photographs with proper attribution;
  • The OSU Center for Rural Health is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, destroyed, or misdirected entries or for miscommunications, misdirected transmissions, or other errors of any kind, whether human or electronic;
  • By entering, participants release and hold harmless the OSU Center for Health Sciences and the OSU Center for Rural Health, as well as any employees;
  • Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these official rules and by the decisions of the judges, which are final on all matters about the contest;
  • OSU Center for Rural Health employees and their families may enter the contest but are not eligible to win; and
  • The OSU Center for Rural Health reserves the right to reject any entry due to obscene, objectionable, or irrelevant content.
