How to Conduct a Successful Community Health Needs Assessment

Her presentation emphasizes the importance of gathering comprehensive data, engaging community stakeholders, and aligning the assessment process with the requirements set by the IRS and other federal guidelines. Recorded Webinar: Engaging Your Local Community Through Youth Oriented Programs

The third and final installment of the Community Health Needs Assessment Webinar Series hosted by Eide Bailly and the Oklahoma Office of Rural Health. Programming to positively impact youth is an effective approach for hospitals to engage the local community. Two hospitals in Oklahoma, Mercy Hospital Kingfisher and Eastern Oklahoma Medical Center (EOMC) in Poteau, present their efforts at fostering collaboration among their local youth population. Brian Denton, CEO of Mercy Hospital Kingfisher, discusses his hospital’s Student Careers Council and Tiffany Griffis, DNP APRN FNP-C from EOMC reviews how the hospital is leveraging telemedicine to provide school-based care in southeastern Oklahoma. The video lasts approximately 1 hour.
