OSU Center for Rural Health Staff Member Receives $75,000 Grant from Robert Wood Johnson Foundation

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, America’s leading philanthropy in health and health care, has awarded Denna L. Wheeler, Ph.D., a 24-month, $75,000 grant through the New Connections program. Dr. Wheeler is among a select group of junior investigators to receive one of the grants.
The grant will allow Dr. Wheeler to conduct a study of the efficacy of telemedicine in the provision of mental health services to children, adolescents and families in rural areas.
